In June Governor Pritzker and Coursera launched a new Workforce Recovery Initiative offering virtual career training for unemployed Illinois residents. Since then, over 1,000 residents have enrolled in over 3,000 classes.  This new partnership with Coursera and other partners like the University of Illinois makes Illinois one of the first states in the nation to make free courses available to unemployed workers.

Right now, you can access FREE online Information Technology (IT) and Job Readiness courses from top institutions through Coursera. This training will boost your skills and experience when you apply for IT jobs in Illinois.

Be sure to register by September 30, 2020 to complete the courses by December 31, 2020 and earn your certificates.
